About 15-Minute Fredericksburg
Fifteen Minute Fredericksburg is a grassroots organization of Fredericksburg citizens who are committed to a vision of our city as a place where all residents can conveniently live their daily lives on foot or by bike.
As a group, we broadly support and advocate for high quality bike, pedestrian and public transit infrastructure; streets that are safe for all users; abundant and affordable housing in sustainable and desirable areas; a healthy marketplace of independent businesses; and livable and accessible neighborhoods.
How we work
Reform the rules
Back zoning reform and streamlined permitting so more homes are legal to build, especially near transit and jobs.
Educate & engage
Turn out residents to the meetings that matter and make it easy to take a pro-housing position on local projects.
Build partnerships
Work with neighbors, labor, faith groups, and builders toward a shared abundant-housing agenda.
